Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a student at a university or college to work at the KTH Library's loan desk during the academic year 2026-27.

You will be part of a team that staffs the library during evenings and weekends, as well as some mornings, but other times may also be relevant by agreement. We therefore value your flexibility and ability to swap or take an extra shift if the need arises.

The employment is approximately 20–50% and is scheduled accordingly. You will work with service to the library's users, shelving books, as well as supervising, closing, and preparing the premises. Other tasks that occur during library service may also be relevant.

Qualifications

Requirements

You must be admitted and an active student in a bachelor's or master's program at a Swedish institution. You must be able to provide proof of your studies with a Ladok extract or equivalent upon request.
Good language skills in Swedish and English as KTH has many international students and the work requires communication in both languages.

Personal Qualities

You have a strong sense of service and meet our users in an equal and respectful manner based on their needs. Your ability to collaborate with colleagues is good, and you can handle multiple visitors and matters simultaneously. You are eager to take the initiative for new tasks where you see a need in the operations related to support. You are meticulous and take responsibility for ensuring that your tasks are completed.
